The Converse® Composite Safety Toes are independently strength tested.  Converse® Composite Safety Toes meet or exceed the requirements set up by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), one of the largest independent standards organizations in the world.  The Composite Toe Impact Test involves dropping a measured weight over a measured distance onto the top of the toe-cap.  The Converse® Composite Safety Toe cap withstood a Class 75 impact, earning ASTM's highest rating.
