Stetson® Salutes was a contest held
the summer of 2009 to honor members of the U.S. Armed Forces by
inviting their loved ones to submit stories of "how a Stetson hat has
been an important part of their life."
For each story submitted, Stetson® made a $1
donation to the Armed
Services YMCA. The three winners have each had a hat named after
them and included for sale in the 2010 collection: great styles in
honor of wonderful stories.
On Veteran's Day, November 11,
2009, Stetson® proudly announced the winners of the Stetson® Salutes
contest:
