  • ASTM F2413-05 - The new official standard for safety footwear in the United States. It replaces the old ANSI Z41 PT99 protective footwear standard.
  • Composite Toe — A toe cap made from a non-ferrous elastomeric material, which is light weight and will not conduct heat, cold or electricity.
  • Steel Toe — Non-corrosive toe caps used in footwear to provide protection for the toe area.
  • Soft Toe — No protective toe cap.
  • ESD — Footwear that allows static electricity to be dissipated from the wearer’s body into the walking surface to prevent static electricity build up. The shoes are used in areas where the generation of static electricity could harm electrical equipment, circuit board assemblies, the manufacture of computer chips or paint application processes.
  • DR Dual Resistor — Now ESD performance takes the next step with DR dual-resistor technology.
  • Electrical Hazard safety - Footwear provides workers a secondary source of protection from live circuits, wires or highly charged electrical equipment. The insulating properties of such footwear are measured under dry conditions and may deteriorate in wet environments and with wear.
  • Conductive — Safety footwear used in areas with highly volatile and explosive materials.
  • Metatarsal Guard — An appliance added to footwear, designed to provide additional protection to the instep area. Traditionally used in areas where there is a higher risk of objects falling or rolling onto the instep of the worker’s foot.
  • Flex-Met — An anatomically shaped flexible metatarsal guard with shock cushion permanently inserted inside the instep area of the shoe upper.
  • Puncture Resistant — A patented non-metallic insole material is permanently affixed inside the shoe to retard the penetration of certain objects through the bottom of the sole of the shoe. Meets or exceeds the ASTM F2413-05 Standard for Puncture Resistance.
  • Slip Resistant — Soles designed to provide a higher level of coefficient of friction with the walking surface to improve slip resistance.
  • Outdoor Traction — The shoe incorporates a special lug design on the outsole to provide improved traction on grass covered outdoor surfaces.
  • Security Friendly — 100% Non-metallic.
  • Insulated — Thinsulate insulation material added to the lining in boots to help keep the foot warm and comfortable in colder environments.
  • Waterproof — A combination of water resistant materials and construction which helps protect the foot from getting wet in environments where excess water is present.
  • Reebok® Shock Eliminator System - Offers three levels of cushioning comfort along with added stability, support, and protection.
  • F2 Insert — Soft molded dual density polyurethane insert that cushions and cradles your foot, provides additional shock absorbing polyurethane ball and heel pads and a moisture absorbing fabric covering with a TPU Heel Stabilizer. These inserts are compatible with ESD and Conductive footwear.
  • F2A Athletic Insert — Soft molded dual density polyurethane insert that cushions and cradles your foot, provides additional shock absorbing polyurethane ball and heel pads and a moisture absorbing fabric covering. These inserts are compatible with ESD and Conductive footwear.
