John Deere® Boots Features and Benefits
John Deere Safety Toe

John Deere safety toe boots are laboratory tested to meet OSHA standards for protective footwear based on impact and compression testing. John Deere Boots meet or exceed the Impact I75 and Compression C75 testing. We use the new testing standards ASTM F 2412-05 and ASTM F 2413-05. This is marked in each pair of John Deere safety toe boots, and testing results are on file.

Electrical Hazard (EH) footwear is designed with special heel and sole materials to provide extra protection on jobs where accidental contact with electrically energized objects is possible. John Deere Boots are tested to meet the standards set by OSHA. Testing procedures followed are the new ASTM F 2412-05 and ASTM F 2413-05. Copies of testing results are on file.

The Metatarsal Guard is a flexible internal guard that protects the upper foot (metatarsal bones) and toe area from “drop” hazards. John Deere Boots are tested to meet the standards set by OSHA. Testing procedures followed are the new ASTM F 2412-05 and ASTM F 2413-05. Copies of testing results are on file.

The Puncture Resistant Steel Plate reduces the threat of dangers underfoot with the protection of our stainless steel midsoles, which reduce the threat of punctures. John Deere Boots are tested to meet the standards set by OSHA. Testing procedures followed are the new ASTM F 2412-05 and ASTM F 2413-05. Copies of testing results are on file.

Barnyard Acid Resistant Leather undergoes a special tanning process to improve the conditions of the leather. This process makes the leather three times stronger and two and a half times more abrasion-resistant than conventional leathers. This offers the wearer superior protection against the harshest environmental organic or inorganic properties, making it “pasture-poop-proof.” This leather will resist caustic alkali, sulfuric acid, calcium hydroxide, potassium phosphate, caustic potash, oils, grease, salt and everyday outdoor barnyard acids such as manure, urine and lactic acids.

Agion™ is an antimicrobial system that suppresses offensive odors, prevents the growth of fungus and provides continuous release of Agion™ for the life of the boot. It is environmentally friendly with no artificial ingredients. Agion™ is the only prevention system proven safe and effective enough to be
called antimicrobial.

John Deere Boots offer insulation from 200 grams up to 1000 grams in select styles. Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation offers various degrees of performance. Insulation is developed for those who demand extreme performance in the outdoors. Thinsulate™ Insulation is compression-resistant, exceptionally thin, lightweight and durable. Warmer than most conventional foams, felts or piles, the microfibers trap and hold body heat, and will absorb less than 1% of their weight in water.

Our WPM waterproof membrane is a layered lining of moisture-wicking material that allows your foot to breathe, but keeps water and moisture out. We use seam-sealed waterproof leathers to ensure a double waterproof seal around your feet.

Our Air Flow Comfort Orthotic System features gel heel and ball shock absorbers with a moisture-control sock lining. The Air Flow Comfort Orthotic System
is designed so that as the weight of your foot compresses onto the back or forepart of the orthotic insole, air is dispersed through the ports to keep your feet cool and dry.

Vibram® has many types of soles for various uses. We match the soles to the conditions our boots are going to be worn in to give you the greatest
dependability in any environment. The sole designs range from mini-lug to aggressive lug outsole design. Work, outdoor, casual…the Vibram® sole lets
you stand your ground.

Go ahead: Grab a shovel and put our boots to the test. All John Deere Boots are constructed with a steel shank so that you can actually use the bottom of the boot to push a shovel into the ground, or climb a ladder, without any injury to your foot or your boot. The various constructions of our boots provide stability and support to protect your arches.

Cambrelle® linings provide superior moisture management, keeping your feet fresh and dry – no matter how hard you work or play. Cambrelle® linings absorb perspiration and breathe to allow air to circulate while keeping moisture out. So, step after step, your feet stay cool, dry and comfortable.
